🔪 Instructions
Let's begin by preparing your asparagus. Wash and trim the asparagus by snapping off the woody ends. Discard the woody ends, and cut the asparagus spears that you will steam into thirds on a diagonal.
The cooking process we will use to cook the asparagus is simple steaming.
Bring a pot of water to the boil over high heat, and steam the asparagus pieces for around 5 minutes until they are crisp tender. If the asparagus is very thick, you may need to steam for a few minutes more.
Once steamed, take off the heat and run under cold water. You could also prepare a bowl of ice water and plunge the cooked asparagus into an ice bath.
Drain asparagus completely and set it aside.

Combine all of the dressing ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

Put the cold asparagus in a large bowl, and add the dressing. Stir to combine, and then enjoy!
