Soak the dates in some hot water for around 5 minutes to soften them up. If your dates still have pits, this will allow you to easily remove the pits.
Process your walnuts in a food processor until they are broken up into small pieces. Then add the softened dates, coffee concentrate, and the cocoa or cacao to the food processor. Whiz for a bit until nicely combined and sticky.
Remove the mixture from the food processor, and then place in a small container (I used a 7.5" x 5.5" glass container). Press down to form a firm mixture and refrigerate for around an hour before serving.

This recipe makes 6 small or 4 large brownies. Please be mindful that these brownies do contain caffeine, so it's probably best not to eat them too close to bedtime. :-)
