DELICIOUS Texas Chili Made Easy Using CASI Terlingua TX Chili Recipe Mix!
Texas Chili is made super easy by using this premixed seasoning from CASI Terlingua TX Chili Recipe Mix! Enjoy being treated to a championship chili experience!
- 1 packet CASI Terlingua Championship Chili Recipe Seasoning
- 2 lbs beef either ground, chili grind, or cubed (I used ground beef)
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 serrano peppers diced (optional but I used more than 2 because I love hot and spicy chili!)
- jalapenos sliced
- sour cream
Brown the ground beef and then drain the fat.
Add the tomato paste, chicken broth, serrano peppers, and the seasoning mix. Bring to the boil, and then lower to a simmer.
Simmer covered for around 1 hr and 15 minutes.
If the sauce is too think for your liking you can remove the cover and turn up the heat a bit to cook it down. However, I found it was nice and rich and thick after the 1:15 min simmer!
My recipe is based on The Championship Experience option on the seasoning packet. I altered it a bit to make it easier but I promise you it is every bit delicious!
Recommended toppings include cilantro, jalapenos, sour cream, and cheese lots of cheese!
