Incredibly Easy and Delicious Mussels With Black Bean Sauce

Mussels with Black Bean Sauce is an absolutely MUST try dish which is super easy to make and absolutely mouthwatering!

- 2 lb frozen mussels
- 4-6 each Asian dried chilies can omit if you like or reduce amount or add more!
- 3 tablespoon black bean sauce
- 2 green onions sliced
Add 2 lb of frozen mussels to a deep saucepan and place on med high heat.
Once they come to the boil and start to open, add and stir in 3 heaping tablespoons of black bean sauce.
Continue to cook until all or most all of the mussels open, stirring every so often. Then add the Asian dried chilies (if using) and green onions. Stir to combine.
Your Mussels With Black Bean Sauce are now ready to serve!
Enjoy this amazingly delicious dish with heaps of steamed rice! Be sure that the juices from the mussels and the black bean sauce are generously poured over the rice which will soak up those delicious juices!
A word about the Asian chilies - you can leave them whole for less spice or cut them up so the seeds fall out for more spice. You can even just add them to the dish for some color, and put them on the side when enjoying these mussels!
